Only a week away from leaving for Russia for my first mountain, Mt Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe and my first of (hopefully) Seven Summits. According to Wikipedia 15-30 people a year die on Elbrus but that mountain has never faced a 'Wrestling :: continue

Folks ask how long I will be up on Mt Elbrus-the key is the acclimatization phase which takes about four days. This is where you stay at base camp and make several trips up mountain and back down, this increases the red blood cells in the body which allows :: continue
